Need a break from the heat, always wanted to skate, or just need some fun? The Centerpoint Community Ice at the Independence Events Center offers public skating sessions summer discounts with convenient times throughout the week. As the temperature goes higher so do the discounts! Save 92 cents when the outside temperature is 92° and save over $1 when the temperature goes over 100° Ice skating is a fun and safe activity the whole family can enjoy. And with the Kansas City Heat, ice skating is the best way to beat the heat!
