The Jr. Mavericks Youth Hockey Club and the Mid America Hockey Association are proud to announce that we have been approved by USA Hockey to start league play in the Fall of 2010!  The organization is open to all ages and skill levels. 

The Centerpoint Community Ice Facility offers introductory hockey programs to prepare for the up and coming hockey season for beginner, intermediate and advanced players.  Click HERE to find out more!

The teams will be divded up by age and skill level

Atom: 04/05

Mite: 02/03

Squirt: 00/01

Peewee: 98/99

Bantam: 96/97

High School: 93/94/95 (www.mahshl.org)

The Atom through Bantam divisions will participant in a city wide hockey league which includes the KC Stars, KC Saints, KC Outlaws, St. Joe Griffins, Topeka, Carriage Club and now the JR. MAVERICKS!  The league will consist of 18 regular season games plus a year end tournament. 

We will also offer 22 practices throughout the season which will include Missouri Mavericks Head Coach Scott Hillman, IEC Hockey Director Brandon Schultz, IEC Community Ice Rink Manger Chris Johnston and Missouri Mavericks Hockey Players helping as often as they can with 'on ice' instruction and practice plans.  Both jerseys and socks are included at no extra charge.

WE WILL BE HAVING AN OPEN HOUSE AUGUST 28TH FROM 2:30PM - 5:00PM. 

The open house will include an opportunity to meet current CHL Maverick players along with their head coach Scott Hillman!  Player registration will be available at the open house.  There will be free open skating, inflatables, equipment swap and a cook out so come hungry.  Missouri Mavericks mascot Mac will also be in attendance.  We look forward to seeing you there!
